Modification of Condensation Unit of Kirishskaya SDPP (State District Power Plant)
Based on CCGT Technology (PGU-800).

PGU-800 of Kirishskaya SDPP is the largest and the most powerful CCGT unit in Russia. Within the scope of this unique for Russian power generating industry modernization project on power generating unit No. 6 of Kirishskaya SDPP based on CCGT Technology, “VIS Automation”, LLC was functioning as the leading organization responsible for facility commissioning and executed operational adjustment of PGU-800 MWatts CCGT unit. Moreover, the company executed the following operations in the course of project implementation:

  • Installation and wiring operations on ORU-330 of Kirishskaya SDPP;
  • Electrical equipment installation in the CCGT unit main building;
  • Development of electronics for steam turbine control system
  • of power generating unit No. 6 of Kirishskaya SDPP branch “OGK-2”, PJSC (”Wholesale Generating Company-2”, PJSC);
  • General construction works on Kirishskaya SDPP;
  • Service maintenance of Software and Hardware Complex of Kirishskaya SDPP PGU-800 APCS.

Ongoing Projects

Construction of Novy Urengoy Gas Chemical Facility.

The production design capacity is up to 400 thd. tonnes of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) per year with the potential increase of production capacity of polyolefins up to 1.2 mln. tonnes, of natural gas liquids (NGL) - up to 400 thd. tonnes, and of methane fraction - up to 1.48 bln. m3 per year.

Object “Gas Turbine Power Plant, Novy Urengoy Gas Chemical Facility”. 

“VIS Automation”, LLC functions as the leading organization responsible for facility commissioning. The following additional operations, services and deliveries are provided in the course of the project implementation:

  • Project development, delivery, installation, installation supervision and tuning of Software and Hardware Complex of Automatic Process Control System (SHC APCS) for mechano-caloric and electrical equipment, including protection relay and Automation Devices for GIS of 220 kV, KRU/ZRU (Integrated switchgear/Indoor switchgear) 10 kV;
  • Project development, delivery, installation, installation supervision and tuning of Software and Hardware Complex of Automatic Control System for Utility Systems based on SPPA T-3000 (SHC ACS US);
  • Commissioning of Instrumentation and Controls;
  • Commissioning of Electrical equipment;
  • Installation and adjustment supervision of GIS 220 kV of 8DN9 type by Siemens AG;
  • Installation and adjustment supervision of generator switchgears HB 1 by Siemens AG;
  • Installation and commissioning of telemetry and communication systems (TM&C) and disturbance recording system (DRS).
  • Commissioning of Automated information and measuring system of power revenue metering.

Plant, Novy Urengoy Gas Chemical Facility”.

“VIS Automation”, LLC. performs:

  • Commissioning of Automated Process Control System;

“Power generating unit No. 9 (330 MWatts) construction using
CFB Technology, for Novocherkassk SDPP”

Russia’s first Russian-made Power Generating Unit using CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) Technology which presents the optimum solution with regard to the current environmental protection standards, and conforms with the requirements current European Norms for emission release.

The power generating unit core process equipment:

  • Steam Turbine K-330-23,5;
  • Boiler Unit Pp-1000-24,5-565.

Ancillary process equipment:

  • Condensate-feed pipeline;
  • Main steam piping;
  • Auxiliary steam lines system;
